AD OF THE DAY
Tomorrow she’s supposed to give her big, kinda-sorta concession speech.
Last night, the blogs say Senators Obama and Clinton visited at her house.
So it makes sense that 12 hours beforehand Obama’s campaign placed new creative.
Over a standard ad format that he had used for months, new language of reconciliation was featured in prominent white lettering:
“Let us unite in common effort to achieve our greatest hopes and highest aspirations.”
The ad first appeared yesterday morning on ladies’ magazine web sites, The New York Times, MSN.com, and Politico.com. The ads also are appearing geo-targeted at Kentucky and Oregon.
A quick Google of the new phrase turned up nothing, but it may have been taken from his speech this week in St. Paul, Minnesota.
